The Carport
A carport is the perfect storage solution when you don't need the full coverage of a portable garage, shed, or storage shelter. Great for seasonal or all-year storage for cars, boats, ATV's, trailers, campers, RV's, or other vehicles, carports provide maximum airflow while offering protection for your important asset. From our compact shelters to our massive extra-wide series, we offer several carports to get the job done.
When storing a vehicle such as a boat or an RV over the winter, the vehicle may still need some air circulation to prevent mildew and dry-rot from forming when not in use. A carport provides the combination of airflow and coverage ideal for this type of protection. With a carport, the canopy fits over the steel frame but the sides are not enclosed.
Features of Our Carports
Our carports are constructed of two parts: a steel frame and a canopy. The frame is 100-percent steel, bonded with a DuPont™ thermoset baked-on powder-coated finish that prevents chipping, peeling, rusting, and corrosion. Typically, the carport frame has a sturdy three-rib design. Other carports offer more support for long-term use and are made with a galvanized steel frame.
Made from heavy-duty polyethylene, the canopy is available in shades of grey, green, or white. The material has a strong, durable-quality weave and is rip-stop, waterproof, and UV treated inside and out. To prevent possible outside damage, the carport canopy has been treated with anti-fade, anti-aging, and anti-fungal agents.
